Hi!

I've spent almost a year reworking my game Ganbatte!! Robochan, adding new mechanics, improving graphics and designing the other levels. And now it's almost finished! I've unpublished the old version of the game demo but I'm going to publish a new one very soon.

The new demo will be published here and the complete version will be available for purchase at itch.io.

Thank you so much for all the support I've received so far. All of your reviews and feedback have been very useful to improve the game.

The demo and link for purchase will soon be available here.

Hey guys,

I've been making changes in my game Ganbatte!! Robochan lately based on the feedback I've received here and in other platforms. The most important modification is the controls. I've changed the default directional keys from WASD to the ARROW keys. Although the WASD configuration is my personal favourite way to play games, I can't ignore so many comments complaining about this. So from now on the ARROWS are the default derectional, while X and SPACE BAR go for the action buttons. But they can still be customized in the OPTIONS menu.

I've also made changes in the art of the background in the first stage. My first color choices for the background looked like a blueish violet in my screen but when I tested the game in other PCs I could see that in many other screens the color was more like a very bright magenta, a little unpleasant to look at. So I decided to use darker blue tones in the background and I think it's better this way.

Some minor changes in the level design were made too. Some platforms had their edges made higher than the hitbox of the spikes, so the player wouldn't step on them accidentaly, unless they fall from the platform.

This is (hopefully) the final version of the DEMO. The next thing I'll post related to this game will be the COMPLETE VERSION.

Thanks a lot for all the support and feedback I've received here!

See ya! 😊
